Chennai to Host 38th India International Leather Fair 2025
Chennai: The 38th India International Leather Fair (IILF) will be held at the Chennai Trade Centre from February 1-3, 2025. The event will showcase the latest technologies and innovations in the leather and footwear sector.
Organized by the Council for Leather Exports (CLE), the fair will feature over 450 exhibitors from India and overseas, including country pavilions from Brazil, France, Germany, and Italy.
The Indian leather and footwear industry aims to reach a turnover of USD 47 billion by 2029-30, generating 2.5 million additional jobs. Exports are projected to reach USD 5 billion in 2024-25, with a target of USD 13.7 billion by 2029-30.
The event will also include a “Designer Fair” featuring 36 design companies and institutions from 9 countries.
