MMTC-PAMP Launches 999.9 Pure Silver Coin Honouring Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s 350th Martyrdom Year
Commemorative Coin Celebrates Legacy of Religious Freedom and Spiritual Courage
Mumbai: MMTC-PAMP, India’s only LBMA-accredited gold and silver refiner, has unveiled a special 20g 999.9 pure silver coin to mark the 350th martyrdom year of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the ninth guru of Sikhism. Revered for his unwavering commitment to religious freedom, Guru Tegh Bahadur’s sacrifice in 1675 remains a powerful symbol of interfaith harmony and human dignity.
The commemorative coin was launched in association with the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee, in the presence of Harmeet Singh Kalka, Jagdip Singh Kahlon, and Jaspreet Singh Karmsar.
The coin’s front features an intricately detailed depiction of Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib, Delhi—where Guru Tegh Bahadur attained martyrdom—while the reverse bears the Khanda symbol and the inscription “350th Martyrdom Year of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.”
Crafted with MMTC-PAMP’s signature Swiss precision, each coin is Assayer-certified, individually numbered, and packaged securely. It stands as a timeless tribute to Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s legacy of courage, compassion, and spiritual strength.
