Oreo Launches ‘Dream for the Team’ to Rally India’s Cricket Fans Nationwide
Chennai: Oreo has launched ‘Dream for the Team’, a nationwide fan movement aimed at bringing Indian cricket supporters together ahead of a key World Cup campaign. Rooted in the belief in collective positivity, the initiative encourages fans to unite and support Team India by sharing their hopes and dreams.
Cricket icon Rohit Sharma leads the campaign as a fellow fan, reinforcing the idea that belief from millions can be a powerful force. The campaign film positions fandom as active participation rather than passive cheering.
At the heart of the initiative are 16 specially designed Oreo cookies, inspired by iconic cricket moments such as sixers, yorkers, and centuries. Fans can scan QR codes on promotional packs to submit their dreams, which appear on a digital ‘dream wall’ tracking collective fan sentiment alongside Team India’s tournament progress.
The campaign will roll out across 250 million Oreo packs pan-India and be amplified through television, digital, outdoor, social, e-commerce, and cricket broadcast integrations. Oreo has also introduced a limited-edition ‘Dream Blue’ pack featuring blue crème biscuits as a symbolic show of support for Team India.
With ‘Dream for the Team’, Oreo continues to blend culture, product, and participation—turning cricket fandom into a nationwide movement.
