Axis Bank Reports Q3FY26 Net Profit of ₹6,490 Crore; Deposits and Advances Grow Strongly
Chennai: Axis Bank reported a net profit of ₹6,490 crore for Q3FY26, supported by steady net interest income and healthy fee income growth. Net Interest Income (NII) rose 5% year-on-year to ₹14,287 crore, while Net Interest Margin stood at 3.64%.
The bank reported deposits growth of 12% YoY and advances growth of 14% YoY. Core operating profit increased 9% quarter-on-quarter, and profit after tax rose 28% QoQ. Fee income grew 12% YoY to ₹6,100 crore, with retail fees contributing 71% of total fee income.
Asset quality improved during the quarter, with Gross NPA at 1.40% and Net NPA at 0.42% as of December 31, 2025. The bank’s capital adequacy ratio stood at 16.55%.
Axis Bank’s wealth management assets under management reached ₹6.87 lakh crore, while its domestic distribution network expanded to 6,110 branches and extension counters across India.
