Aamir Khan Opens Up About His Journey, Perfectionism, and the Future of Bollywood at ABP Network’s Ideas of India 2025

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan shared his insights on his illustrious career, perfectionism, and the future of Bollywood at ABP Network’s Ideas of India 2025 summit.

Khan revealed that piracy played a significant role in making him a star in China, where his film “3 Idiots” went viral despite being pirated. He credited the Chinese audience for accepting a film from a different culture and giving it love and respect.

On being called a perfectionist, Khan said, “I don’t like the term ‘perfectionist.’ I’m more interested in magic. I do believe that God lies in the details.”

Khan emphasized the importance of writers in the film industry, stating, “We need more cinema theaters. Also, as creative people, we should give a lot more value to writers.”

He also spoke about his personal life, saying, “I don’t use my phone much. I love books and reading. Over the past two to three years, I’ve been spending quality time with my family.”

Khan expressed his desire to produce more films and create a platform for new talent. He also revealed his dream of making the “Mahabharat” and creating children’s content.

The two-day summit, centered around the theme “Humanity’s Next Frontier,” brought together thought leaders and innovators to explore the challenges and opportunities presented by India’s rise in a rapidly changing world.
