Akhilesh Kumar Dixit Appointed CEO of Energy Efficiency Services Limited
Chennai: Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) has announced the appointment of Akhilesh Kumar Dixit as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective June 16, 2025. Dixit brings over 32 years of experience in the power sector, having served in various senior roles at Power Grid Corporation of India Limited.
Dixit is a seasoned professional with expertise in multiple domains, including substation and transmission line operations, business development, corporate social responsibility, human resources, and procurement. He holds a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) from Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon.
On his appointment, Dixit said, “It is an honor to lead EESL at a time when energy efficiency is at the core of India’s sustainable development goals. I look forward to building on EESL’s strong legacy while charting a bold path forward.”
As CEO, Dixit will lead EESL’s transformation into a next-generation energy solutions provider, driving innovation, accelerating adoption of sustainable technologies, and strengthening India’s energy efficiency mission.
