Volvo Car India Introduces the All-Electric Volvo EX30
Chennai: Volvo Car India has introduced its latest electric car, the Volvo EX30, which is now open for pre-reservation in Chennai. Interested buyers can take test drives at the Volvo Tamilnadu Teynampet & Ambattur Dealership and avail special privileges on delivery. The all-electric SUV is expected to be officially launched with price details by the end of September, with customer deliveries beginning from October 2025.
Sustainability and Safety Features
The EX30 is Volvo’s most sustainable car, boasting the lowest carbon footprint of any fully electric Volvo to date. Its attractive interiors are made from recycled materials such as denim, PET bottles, and aluminum. The car has achieved a five-star rating in the Euro NCAP safety test and features advanced safety tools like intersection auto brake and Safe Space Technology, which includes cameras, radars, and ultrasonic sensors.
Luxury and Technology
The EX30 offers a range of luxury features, including ambient lighting themes and sounds inspired by Scandinavian seasons, a Harman Kardon soundbar with 1040W amplifier, and a 12.3-inch high-resolution center display with Google built-in and 5G connectivity. The car also features innovative interaction technologies like NFC unlocking and Digital Key Plus, allowing the phone to act as a key.

The EX30 has won several international awards, including the prestigious Red Dot award: Best of the Best Product Design 2024 and the World Urban Car of the Year 2024. The car comes with an 8-year battery warranty and includes a wall box charger as standard fitment.
