AP CM Chandrababu Naidu Urges Officials to Adopt Technology, Reform Outdated Laws at Ministers-Secretaries Conference
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday directed officials to maintain strong team spirit, adopt best practices and leverage technology to improve governance and public service delivery. Addressing the third Ministers and Secretaries Conference at the Secretariat, he emphasised the need to revamp outdated laws and simplify regulations to benefit citizens.
Naidu said the state aims to become a role model in administrative reforms, highlighting the growing importance of artificial intelligence, quantum computing and data centres in improving living standards. He noted that Amaravati’s capital works are progressing and the city is expected to emerge as one of the most livable cities within three years.
Reviewing government initiatives, the Chief Minister said Polavaram project works are nearing completion, irrigation development has seen significant investment, and farmers have benefited from market interventions and quick payments for paddy procurement. He also cited investments in data centres, a green ammonia project in Kakinada, road development and universal drinking water supply under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan stressed effective field-level implementation of government programmes, while Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand delivered the inaugural address.
