Bayer Launches “Make Them Shine” Campaign to Empower Rural Children

Bengaluru: Bayer, a global enterprise in agriculture and healthcare, has launched “Nativo® – Make Them Shine,” a social impact initiative aimed at opening new learning pathways for children in India’s farming communities.

Rooted in the belief that every child deserves the chance to discover their potential, the program uses immersive and experiential learning to build confidence, curiosity, and skills for promising futures.

For over 15 years, Bayer’s flagship fungicide brand Nativo® has supported farmers with reliable crop protection. With this initiative, the brand extends its purpose beyond harvests to community wellbeing — dedicating a portion of proceeds from every pack sold to children’s education and self-reliance.

Program Highlights

  • Delivered at Protovillage in collaboration with Integreater Foundation
  • Two-week immersive program for the first batch of 100 rural children
  • Curriculum includes emotional balance, self-awareness, yoga, STEM learning in agriculture and ecology, entrepreneurship, and leadership through sports like skateboarding
  • Outstanding participants to be felicitated at the Protovillage Annual Festival

The initiative bridges the rural skills gap by fostering creativity, critical thinking, and leadership among youth, empowering them to dream bigger and grow stronger.

With a strong presence across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka, Nativo® has built long-standing partnerships with rice growers. Make Them Shine strengthens this bond by giving farmers a meaningful way to invest in their community’s future — with every purchase directly supporting a child’s learning journey.
