Mumbai: Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida, an AACSB-accredited business school, successfully conducted its monthly CEO/CXO Talk Series titled “A Conversation with Gen Z”. The sessions brought leading corporate leaders to campus, offering students valuable insights into leadership, HR, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation.
The event featured prominent industry voices including Kenji Inoue, CFO & COO, UNIQLO India; Swarup Mohanty, Vice Chairman & CEO, Mirae Asset Investment Managers (India); Abhay Batra, Co-Founder & CFO, Clovia; and Vijay Ranjan Singh, HR Head, LG India. Additional sessions were delivered by Seepika Singhal, Senior Director & Global Head, Total Rewards, Brillio Technologies; Rahul Vij, COO, Digi Haat, Nirmit Bharat; and Aditya Agarwal, EVP – Digital, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.
Students engaged in interactive discussions on entrepreneurship, product innovation, and brand building. Mohanty emphasized the importance of long-term investing, noting: “I thought I was smarter than the markets, but I soon realized the markets are always smarter than you. In a country like India, investing in capital markets is one of the best ways to participate in its growth.”
Abhay Batra highlighted the power of organic and guerrilla marketing, stating: “Spending a lot of money doesn’t ensure success. What works is organic connection and doing things the right way.” Vijay Ranjan Singh inspired students with a message of self-discipline and responsibility, quoting from the film Sultan: “You can only defeat yourself.”
BIMTECH is among the few B-schools in India to host a structured CEO/CXO talk series every month, strengthening industry–academia collaboration and preparing students for corporate leadership.
The institute has set new benchmarks this year with initiatives such as the Bloomberg Lab, Marketing & Retail Research Lab, BIMCOIN (a blockchain-based campus currency), and a strategic partnership with UNIQLO. BIMTECH students also won the PRME Global Students Sustainability Award 2025 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York and participated in innovation-driven events like Google AI Startup Day.
Recently, the Centre of Education for All (BCall) organized a workshop on inclusive higher education, furthering BIMTECH’s mission to deliver globally recognized management education. Inspired by its founders, Late Basant Kumar Birla and Sarala Birla, BIMTECH continues to nurture future leaders through its diverse PGDM and Fellow programs, supported by a strong alumni network of over 8,000 professionals worldwide.
