Top cop gives cyber safety tips to CIOs in Chennai
Over 140 CIOs and 40+ industry leaders attend 12th anniversary of CIO Association of Chennai
The CIO Association of Chennai, a congregation of Chief Information Officers from Chennai and related districts, celebrated its 12th anniversary in the city. The chapter has CIOs and key IT decision leaders representing banking manufacturing, healthcare, IT services, automobile, and other industry segments.
The event saw the participation of over 140 CIOs and 40+ industry Leaders from Chennai and other parts of India.
Prominent IT solution providers such as HPE, Zscaler, Capital Land, Airtel, Skylark, AWS, Hitachi Vantara, Precision, NTTData, Zoho ManageEngine, S4Techonolgy, SBA, Smartrun, Creston, O2k, Canon, CTRLS, Minosha, and Ricoh participated along with their senior management teams.
The inaugural address was given by Shri Sanjay Kumar IPS, ADGP Cybercrime. Shri Sanjay Kumar gave a perspective of general cybercrime awareness to all and how everyone should be cautious and protect themselves from cyber attackers. There should joint contribution from public and government to formulate safe and secure ecosystem in the digital world.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Manjunath P, President, CIO Association, Chennai chapter, stressed on the effective mix between management, technical and execution skills as the three essential pillars of CIOs’ core competency. Mr. Sendil Kumar V, Joint Treasurer, CIO Association of India sent his greetings and called upon CEOs to join hands in nation building so that the skills of the Indian industry are powered by technology and enabled to deliver optimal, effective, sustainable and consistent usage of IT solutions to power growth and overall development.
This year, the chapter celebrated the Namma Chennai heritage of Tamil Nadu-the Chennai CIO Sangamam as its theme. The management committee of the chennai chapter was in full strength represented by T G Santhosh, Balaji TK, K Saravanakumar, Balakrishnan K, Ganesan S, Shankar V, Rakesh and Pragati Kumar.
The Chennai chapter has been very active over the last 12 years in periodically conducting knowledge sharing as well as management interactions to foster and benefit the skills of CIOs and IT decision makers so as to enable them deliver the best and most efficient solutions to the modern-day workplace.
The Chennai chapter is not just a professional association but also brings in the right mix of entertainment, thereby promoting the best balance between mind and body to these busy and stressed senior executives.
