Cosmo Plastech Showcases Sustainable Packaging Innovations at World of Ice Cream Expo 2025
Mumbai: Cosmo Plastech, the rigid packaging division of Cosmo Films, showcased its latest innovations at the World of Ice Cream Expo 2025 held at Science City, Ahmedabad. The company presented its complete portfolio of rigid packaging solutions tailored for the ice cream industry, including thermoformed containers, injection-molded containers, rigid sheets, and in-mold label (IML) films.
Eco-Friendly Solutions
Cosmo Plastech also introduced its Green Graphic Films, an eco-friendly innovation designed to reduce environmental impact while maintaining high quality and visual appeal. The company’s stall attracted over 500 visitors on the first day, with strong interest in sustainable and functional packaging formats that meet consumer expectations and regulatory requirements.
Growth and Certification
According to Himanshu Gupta, Business Head, Rigid Packaging, Cosmo First, the Indian rigid packaging market is projected to reach USD 19 billion by 2030, with the ice cream segment being a key growth driver. Cosmo Plastech recently achieved the prestigious FSSC 22000 certification, highlighting its commitment to safe and compliant food packaging.
