Yatri Motorcycles Accelerates Electric Mobility Innovation with Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE Platform

Yatri Motorcycles, a leading electric mobility startup based in Nepal, has adopted the 3DEXPERIENCE platform on the cloud to design and deliver its next-generation two-wheeler electric vehicles and charging infrastructure. The platform provided Yatri Motorcycles with a unified digital environment to design, simulate, and manage products from concept to manufacturing, enhancing efficiency and accelerating time-to-market by 40%.

By applying a modeling and simulation approach, Yatri Motorcycles reduced its P2 scooter MVP timeline from 12 months to 7 months. The company’s use of Dassault Systèmes’ SIMULIA applications, such as Abaqus and fe-safe, powered by the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, enabled the team to simulate fatigue and structural performance early in the design phase, saving both cost and development time.

According to Ashim Pandey, CEO of Yatri Motorcycles, “With Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform on the cloud, we have accelerated our ability to bring premium EVs to market faster, with smarter design and fewer physical prototypes. It allows our distributed teams to collaborate seamlessly and stay ahead in a competitive, fast-moving space.”

Deepak NG, Managing Director, India, Dassault Systèmes, said, “Yatri Motorcycles’ journey represents how ambitious startups are using virtual twins and simulation-driven design to reshape urban mobility. Our cloud offering provides not just applications, but a connected innovation environment.”

The cloud-based platform allows teams to easily scale, work together in real-time, and test designs through simulation, all essential tools for today’s electric vehicle innovators. Yatri Motorcycles is Nepal’s first premium electric vehicle manufacturer, developing high-performance two-wheelers and EV infrastructure.
