Lace Up, Chennai! 8th D2D Marathon Opens Registrations
Chennai: Registrations have officially opened for the 8th edition of the Dawn to Dusk (D2D) Chennai Marathon, a flagship event organized by the Neville Endeavours Foundation (NEF). Scheduled to take place on Sunday, 5th October 2025 at Anna University, Guindy, the marathon invites participants from across the city to run, cycle, or walk—promoting fitness while supporting a noble cause.
The D2D Marathon is a philanthropic initiative aimed at raising funds for underprivileged children, with a focus on education and medical care. It also contributes to cancer treatment efforts through the Cancer Institute (WIA). Every registration directly supports these causes, turning each step taken into a stride toward hope and change.
At the helm of this impactful movement is Neville Jamshed Bilimoria, a celebrated Parsi athlete and philanthropist. Neville is a National silver medalist in rowing, a 6-star marathon finisher with 63 marathons completed globally, an ultra-cyclist, and a Super Randonneur for 13 consecutive years. He has twice completed the prestigious Paris-Brest-Paris ride and holds three national records in the Limca Book of Records for running and cycling.
The marathon will be flagged off from Anna University, offering scenic routes through Chennai’s tree-lined streets and along the East Coast Road. More than just a sporting event, the D2D Marathon is a celebration of endurance, camaraderie, and compassion.
Participants can choose from a wide range of categories. For adults, running distances include 3 km, 5 km, 10 km, 16 km, 21 km, and 25 km. Cycling options range from 10 km to 125 km. Children aged 4 to 17 can participate in the Kids Run, with distances from 400 meters up to 10 km.
The registration fee is INR 999 (+ GST) for adults and INR 850 (+ GST) for the Kids Run. All participants will receive a kit that includes a dry-fit finisher T-shirt, BIB, medal, e-certificate, e-badge, and refreshments. The last date to register is 24th September 2025.
