Decathlon Opens Flagship Store in Chennai
Chennai: French sporting goods brand Decathlon has launched a new, large-format store at Pondy Bazaar, T. Nagar, Chennai. The store spans around 28,632 sq ft and is set to become the brand’s flagship store in Tamil Nadu.
The store boasts a wide range of sporting goods and equipment, spread across four floors:
- Ground floor: Cycling and allied goods
- First floor: Fitness and running
- Second floor: Football, basketball, badminton, and table tennis
- Third floor: Trekking, hiking, and camping materials
The store offers various specialized services, including:
- Racket stringing for tennis, badminton, and squash
- 1-hour delivery for quick access to essential sporting items
- T-shirt printing for customized athletic wear
The store was inaugurated by Dr. C. Sylendra Babu, IPS (Retd), Former DGP/Head of Police Force, Tamil Nadu. Decathlon has relocated its Ramee Mall store to this new facility, providing customers with an enhanced shopping experience.
