Kauvery Hospital Launches Metabolic Wellness Centre at 7th Edition of ‘Dishoom Dishoom Diabetes 2025’
Chennai: Kauvery Hospital, Alwarpet, has unveiled the Kauvery Metabolic Wellness Centre, a state-of-the-art facility aimed at tackling obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and other lifestyle-related disorders through a multidisciplinary, preventive care model. The launch coincided with the 7th edition of Dishoom Dishoom Diabetes 2025, the hospital’s flagship public awareness initiative focused on diabetes prevention and healthy living.
The centre was inaugurated by Ishari K. The new centre brings together specialists in diabetology, endocrinology, nutrition, physiotherapy, psychology, and lifestyle medicine to deliver personalized assessments, structured weight management, and long-term wellness plans.
Dr. K. Baraneedharan, Senior Diabetologist at Kauvery Hospital, emphasized the need for early intervention. “Obesity, diabetes, and hypertension are often treated in silos, but they all stem from poor metabolic health.
