DP World Mundra Achieves 13% Growth in FY24-25, Handles 1.4 Million TEUS
Chennai: DP World, a leading global provider of smart end-to-end supply chain solutions, has announced remarkable growth at its Mundra International Container Terminal (MICT). The terminal handled 1,497,228 TEUS in FY 24-25, a growth of over 13% compared to FY 23-24.
- Record-Breaking Volume: DP World Mundra achieved its highest-ever monthly volume in March 2025, handling 138,983 TEUs.
- Expanded Global Reach: The terminal recently launched its first direct service, MECL, from Mundra to the United States East Coast, and offers ME11/MX service under the Gemini Cooperation.
- Sustainability Initiatives: DP World has transitioned all its container handling equipment, forklifts, and light vehicles to electric power, reducing diesel consumption and cutting annual carbon emissions.

DP World Mundra features a 50-acre Container Freight Station, located at the port gate, ensuring smooth and efficient cargo transfers. The terminal serviced 762 vessels, marking a 6.57% increase compared to the previous fiscal year.
