EDII Launches AICTE-Approved PGDM in Entrepreneurship for Tech Startups

Mumbai: Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) has announced a new AICTE-approved PGDM specialisation in “Entrepreneurship for Tech Startups” in Bengaluru, aimed at tech professionals aspiring to build scalable ventures.

The two-year programme is designed to equip participants with practical skills in opportunity identification, feasibility assessment, business modelling, product development, funding readiness and go-to-market strategies. The specialisation focuses on high-growth sectors such as EdTech, HealthTech, FinTech, AI-led businesses and digital enterprises.

Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII, said the launch in Bengaluru reflects the city’s position as a leading technology and startup hub, aligning with the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047’.

EDII’s PGDM in Entrepreneurship, introduced in 1998, is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, accredited by the National Board of Accreditation and recognised as MBA-equivalent by the Association of Indian Universities. With over 2,200 alumni and nearly 79% becoming entrepreneurs, the institute follows a milestone-based, incubation-supported learning model through its Centre for Advancing and Launching Enterprises (CALEL).

Beyond academics, EDII has maintained a strong presence in Karnataka since 1997, working with government bodies and corporate partners to promote women’s empowerment, MSME growth and grassroots entrepreneurship across the state.
