Chennai: Geri Care, a pioneer in integrated eldercare, has launched its 10th state-of-the-art Assisted Living facility in Velachery, Chennai. This latest addition marks a significant milestone in the organization’s journey since its inception in 2018. The facility is designed to cater to the growing healthcare needs of India’s aging population, with a focus on providing dignified and compassionate care.

State-of-the-Art Amenities and Services

The 75-bed facility offers expert medical care, including post-surgery recovery, chronic condition management, dementia care, and post-hospitalization support. Notably, it features India’s first Dialysis Day-care Centre for Elders, aimed at reducing the burden of late-night treatments on families. Additional amenities include a dedicated Elder Fitness Studio for physiotherapy and rehabilitation, as well as beautifully landscaped Elder Grove spaces that foster connection, relaxation, and rejuvenation among residents.

The facility was inaugurated by Suhasini Maniratnam, a National Award-winning actor and philanthropist, and Padma Shri Prof. Dr. V.S. Natarajan, a pioneer in geriatric medicine. Dr. Lakshmipathy Ramesh, Founder & Managing Director of Geri Care, emphasized the organization’s mission to provide more than just healthcare – it’s about creating a space where elders feel cared for, respected, and valued.
