Giri Trading Agency Opens New Spiritual Retail Showroom in Kumbakonam
Kumbakonam: Giri Trading Agency Private Limited, a leading retailer of spiritual and religious products, has inaugurated a new showroom in Kumbakonam, strengthening its presence in Tamil Nadu’s historic temple town.
The inauguration was attended by prominent spiritual leaders, including Sabapathi Tambiran Swamigal, President (Adhipar) of Thiruppanandal Kasi Mutt, and Sri Chendalankara Sampath Kumara Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamigal of Mannargudi, marking a ceremonial beginning for the store.
As part of the launch, the company donated pure cow ghee to 21 temples in and around Kumbakonam to support daily rituals, including poojas, deepa aradhanai and prasadam preparation. The initiative also marked the formal launch of “Giri to Society”, a spiritual service programme aimed at providing essential offerings and materials to temples across Tamil Nadu.
The new showroom offers a wide range of spiritual and cultural products, including brass, silver and clay idols, items for traditional festivals and Golu, organic food products, wellness essentials, handicrafts, spiritual literature, devotional music and traditional attire.
Giri Trading Agency said the Kumbakonam outlet is intended to serve devotees and families, particularly during the upcoming festive season, while reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting temples and preserving traditional spiritual practices.
