Chennai: Gleneagles Hospital Chennai recently organized a one-day oncology conference, GLENONCON 2025, which brought together over 300 delegates from across Chennai and Tamil Nadu. The conference provided a dynamic platform for oncologists, surgeons, researchers, and healthcare professionals to exchange knowledge and discuss cutting-edge developments in cancer care.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. J Radhakrishnan, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary and CMD, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, alongside senior leaders from Gleneagles Hospitals including Dr. Nageswar Rao K, Cluster CEO, Chennai & Hyderabad; Dr. Biswarup Pal, Chief of Operations and Medical Services; and Dr. Balaji Ramani, Director, Gleneagles Institute of Oncology.

The conference featured sessions on advanced cancer surgery, robotic oncology, pediatric neurosurgery, head and neck oncology, radiation therapy, and supportive care. More than 40 eminent specialists from various fields, including oncology, neurosurgery, radiation therapy, endocrinology, and allied specialties, participated in the event.
