Granules India Opens Two R&D Centres at IIT Hyderabad
Mumbai: Granules India Limited has inaugurated two new Centres of Excellence at IIT Hyderabad’s Technology Research Park, strengthening its pharmaceutical R&D capabilities.
The Ascelis Center of Excellence for Peptide Development and Characterization, under Granules’ CDMO arm Ascelis Peptides, will focus on cosmetic, therapeutic, and pharmaceutical peptides. It is the company’s first peptide facility in India and will collaborate with its Swiss-based unit, Senn Chemicals.
The Granules Center of Excellence for Particle Engineering will advance polymorph research, material science, and novel drug delivery systems, enabling proprietary technologies and first-to-file opportunities in regulated markets.
