Chennai: A new study by HCLTech reveals that Product-Aligned Operating Models (PAOMs) are crucial for driving innovation, efficiency, and customer value in today’s digital landscape. The research surveyed 550 senior IT and business decision-makers across the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

- 88% of enterprises are adopting PAOMs, with 12% planning to implement within the next 3 years.
- Generative AI is seen as a game-changer, with 47% of respondents believing it will enhance product lifecycle management and decision-making.
- Leadership and culture are critical, with 95% of respondents saying their organizations need a cultural and mindset shift to realize the full value of PAOMs.
Benefits of PAOMs
- AI investment pays off: One in two firms with a PAOM invests in AI and is four times more likely to maximize their ROI.
- Customer feedback is crucial, but only 17% of organizations use it to its full potential.
- Collaboration fuels innovation, but 99.6% of respondents see room for improvement in cross-functional collaboration.
