Bharatiya Center for Excellence Collaborates with Feature Film ‘His Story of Ithihaas’
Chennai: The Bharatiya Center for Excellence, a pioneering institution dedicated to the study and promotion of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), has announced a strategic collaboration with Panchkarma Productions, the creators of the thought-provoking feature film, His Story of Ithihaas. This partnership aims to challenge distorted historical narratives and foster a more authentic understanding of India’s past.
Bridging the Gap between Scholarship and Popular Culture
The collaboration will be launched with screenings of the film at prestigious venues, including IIT Madras and RR Sabha, Mylapore, aimed at students, academics, and the general public. This initiative seeks to bridge the gap between scholarly research and popular culture, creating a widespread dialogue on the importance of decolonizing history and its impact on national identity.
True Itihasa Project and Film Synergy
The collaboration centers on the synergy between the Center’s True Itihasa Project and the film’s compelling storyline. The True Itihasa Project is a multi-year initiative that employs rigorous, evidence-based research to reconstruct India’s civilizational story. His Story of Ithihaas complements this academic mission by bringing the issue to the forefront of public consciousness.
