Honeywell Launches Personal Shopper Tech to Transform Retail in Europe

Mumbai: Honeywell has unveiled the CS32 Personal Shopper, a handheld device designed to enhance and personalise the in-store experience for shoppers across Europe. The technology enables users to scan items, access digital store maps, and make payments directly from the device—streamlining the shopping process and eliminating checkout queues.

David Barker, President of Honeywell Productivity Solutions and Services, said, “Today’s shoppers increasingly want technology that simplifies their journey—allowing them to shop, pay and exit the store with ease.” He added that the Personal Shopper empowers retailers to tailor experiences to diverse customer needs.

Powered by a fast Qualcomm chipset and featuring extended battery life, the CS32 offers a user-friendly interface and scan-as-you-shop (SAYS) functionality. Shoppers can pick up the device at store entrances and return it after use, gaining instant access to product details, pricing, and ingredient lists.

The six-inch display supports side-by-side viewing of shopping lists and personalised ads or offers based on purchase history. This not only enhances convenience but also boosts brand loyalty and opens new revenue opportunities for retailers through targeted promotions and retail media.
