IIHMR University and Vital Strategies Boost Public Health Communication
Mumbai: IIHMR University, in collaboration with Vital Strategies, Bloomberg Philanthropies, and global partners, has successfully organized a two-day workshop titled “Communicating with Data: Conveying Health Information to Media and Colleagues“. The workshop brought together 23 distinguished public health professionals from across India, including representatives from Maharashtra, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Odisha, Gujarat, and Chhattisgarh.

The event focused on capacity building to enhance effective health communication, enabling participants to translate complex health data into clear, credible, and actionable messages. Experts deliberated on insightful topics, including:
