IIM Raipur’s Emerging Managers Bootcamp Concludes with Inspiring Address by Lt. Gen. Ashok Kumar Jindal

Mumbai: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur successfully concluded its 8-day Emerging Managers Bootcamp, designed to nurture managerial capabilities, ethical sensibilities, and community consciousness among future business leaders.

Key Highlights:

  • The bootcamp was attended by the incoming batch of 2025-2027 and featured esteemed faculty, corporate experts, and retired government officers.
  • Lt. Gen. Ashok Kumar Jindal, Executive Director & CEO, AIIMS Raipur, graced the valedictory event, sharing his inspiring military and medical journey.
  • Lt. Gen. Jindal emphasized the importance of ethics, community service, and innovation in management, urging students to explore digital twin modeling in healthcare and promote organ donation.

Lt. Gen. Jindal, said: “Put ethics above profit motives in healthcare and work towards the betterment of the community. Explore the avenue of digital twin modeling in healthcare to come up with innovative solutions, and lay the importance of organ donation.”

Prof. Ram Kumar Kakani, said: “In a world that rewards speed, we at IIM Raipur believe in building depth. The Emerging Managers Bootcamp isn’t just about breaking the ice; it’s about breaking mental barriers. This is where leadership begins in silence, in sweat, and in service.”

The bootcamp featured corporate experts with over 100 years of cumulative CXO-level management experience, including Dr. Pushp Kumar Joshi, Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra, and Shri Vinod P. Menon, among others. Retired IAS, IPS, and IRS officers also contributed to the facilitation.
