Mumbai: Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Minister of State for Education, has embarked on an official visit to Australia to deepen bilateral cooperation in skills and entrepreneurship. The visit aims to foster collaboration between India and Australia in vocational education, workforce development, and industry-led skilling models.

During his visit, Chaudhary held a bilateral meeting with Hon. Andrew Giles, Minister for Skills and Training, Government of Australia, to discuss avenues for enhancing collaboration in skills development. He also addressed the Australia India Business Council Event on the theme of “skilling for the future,” highlighting the importance of aligning training models with industry needs. The Minister visited state-of-the-art training facilities, including Holmesglen’s Victorian Tunnelling Centre and North Metropolitan TAFE, to understand advanced industry-led skilling models.
