Interio Targets 20% Market Share in Karnataka’s Institutional Furniture Segment by FY28
Bangalore: Interio, a leading furniture brand under the Godrej Enterprises Group, is accelerating its B2B growth in Bengaluru to capitalize on the city’s booming office space market. With Bengaluru leading India’s office market with 4.9 million sq ft in gross leasing volumes in Q1 2025, Interio aims to capture a significant share of the growing demand for workspace furniture.
Interio is focused on expanding its presence in Karnataka, driven by the region’s rapid urbanization and evolving furniture requirements. The company currently holds a 15% market share in the institutional furniture market in the region and aims to grow this to 20% over the next three years, outpacing the overall market growth of 7-8%.
Interio’s product portfolio has seen strong traction, particularly in ergonomic chairs, wellness products, soft seating solutions, and digital lockers. The company has launched its Social Office 2.0 collection, designed to create flexible spaces that combine productivity with comfort for the growing coworking sector. Additionally, Interio has introduced specialized ergonomic solutions, such as Motion Mesh and Posture Perfect chairs, to support the wellness needs of employees working across global time zones.
As sustainability becomes increasingly important in corporate real estate decisions, Interio is adapting its manufacturing and product design to meet environmental standards. The company has established a strong network in Karnataka, with an experience center in Indiranagar, a branch office on Crescent Road, and a warehouse in Nelamangala, working with 45 dealers across the state, including 8 in Bengaluru city.
“Bengaluru is a leader in India’s commercial real estate sector. The southern region continues to be a key focus area for us, driven by its rapid urbanization and evolving furniture requirements across offices, education and healthcare sectors,” said Sameer Joshi, Senior Vice President and Head of B2B Business at Interio.
