IREDA Observes Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 with Integrity Pledge and Journal Launch

Mumbai: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) marked the beginning of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 with the administration of the Integrity Pledge by Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman & Managing Director, alongside Chief Guest Ashok Kumar, Chief Technical Examiner, Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). The theme for this year’s observance is “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”

Addressing the gathering, Pradip Kumar Das emphasized the importance of vigilance in fostering sustainable organizational growth and a culture of disciplined learning. He noted that vigilance is vital not only for institutional development but also for maintaining economic health. He highlighted IREDA’s commitment to transparency through IT-enabled systems and online operations.

Employees were encouraged to actively participate in the week-long observance from October 27 to November 2, which includes workshops, seminars, and competitions aimed at reinforcing the values of integrity and accountability.

Ashok Kumar commended IREDA’s efforts toward inclusive development and reiterated that vigilance is a collective responsibility shared by all stakeholders.

To mark the occasion, IREDA released the latest edition of its in-house vigilance journal ‘Pahal’. The release was led by Pradip Kumar Das, Ashok Kumar, Bijay Kumar Mohanty (Director – Finance), and Ajay Kumar Sahani (Chief Vigilance Officer). Employees from across locations joined the event virtually, ensuring widespread participation.
