Jeevidham Awards 2025 Honours Persons with Disabilities in Tamil Nadu
Chennai: The 8th Annual Jeevidham Awards 2025, held at Vidya Sagar, Kotturpuram, celebrated the exceptional achievements of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) across Tamil Nadu under the theme “Fostering Disability-Inclusive Societies for Advancing Social Progress.”
The prestigious initiative, organised by Jeevidham Trust, honoured individuals who have inspired change through resilience, talent, and social contribution. The ceremony witnessed a distinguished gathering of dignitaries and community leaders, who lauded the organisers for their humanitarian efforts in promoting dignity and inclusion.
18 Categories of Excellence
Spanning 18 award categories, the Jeevidham Awards recognised excellence in sports, education, innovation, arts, entrepreneurship, and social leadership. Each award highlighted empowerment, inclusion, and positive societal impact.
Key honours included:
- Lifetime Achievement Award – Simachandran, Founder-President, Tamil Nadu Differently Abled Charitable Trust
- Humanitarian Excellence Award – S. Sankara Raman, Hon. Secretary, Amar Seva Sangam, Tenkasi
- Social Impact Award – Elizabeth Dorothy J, Former Project In-charge, V.R.V Boarding Home for Girls, Ranipet
