India’s Representative Wins Mister of the Globe 2026 Title; Tamil Nadu’s Kathir Vinaayak Creates History
Chennai: Bringing pride to the nation and Tamil Nadu, Chennai-based Kathir Vinaayak has won the prestigious Mister of the Globe 2026 title at the recently concluded international men’s pageant held in the Philippines.
Representing India on the global stage, Kathir Vinaayak competed against contestants from more than 15 countries in the 10-day competition and emerged as the overall champion, marking a significant achievement for the country in the international pageant arena.
Kathir first gained recognition in 2025 when he won the Man of Tamilnadu title, organized by the Tamilnadu Models Association. Following his state-level victory, he was officially selected by Iconic Entertainment to represent India at the global competition.
The international pageant featured multiple competitive segments, including Art, Culture, Fitness, and Question & Answer rounds. Kathir delivered standout performances across all categories and impressed the judges with his confidence, stage presence, and articulation. He also took the opportunity to showcase Tamil culture on the international platform, earning appreciation from the jury and fellow contestants.
Speaking to the media after his win, Kathir Vinaayak said his goal is to inspire young individuals from Tamil Nadu to step forward and represent India in diverse international forums. He further expressed his commitment to advocating for children’s rights and protection, as well as promoting global tourism initiatives.
Kathir also revealed his strong interest in acting and shared his aspiration to enter the film industry in the near future, hinting that audiences may soon see him on the big screen.
