Race Kit Distribution Marks Final Countdown for 4th Edition
Chennai: Kauvery Hospital has commenced the final countdown to the 4th Edition of the K10K Cancer Awareness Run with the successful distribution of race kits to registered participants. The flagship awareness run is scheduled to be held on February 1, 2026, and is expected to bring together thousands of runners, families, corporate teams, and fitness enthusiasts from across the city.
The race kit distribution event was inaugurated by senior oncologists from Kauvery Hospital, Chennai. The initiative has witnessed consistent growth over the past three years, with cumulative participation exceeding 12,000 runners, reflecting Chennai’s increasing engagement with cancer awareness and preventive healthcare.
With each edition, the K10K Run has evolved into a city-wide movement, attracting participation from individuals, families, resident welfare associations, corporates, and fitness communities. The event continues to serve as a platform to promote early detection, informed health decisions, and sustained public awareness on cancer prevention.
The K10K Cancer Awareness Run 2026 will feature 5 km and 10 km categories, ensuring inclusivity for participants across age groups and fitness levels.
The run will be held at Omandurar Medical College Ground, Swami Sivananda Salai, Chennai.
