Kauvery Hospital Hosts “Namma Heart Walk” on Independence Day
Chennai: Kauvery Hospital, Vadapalani, organized a heartwarming event, “Namma Heart Walk,” on August 15, 2025, Independence Day. Hundreds of cardiac patients who had recovered after life-saving interventions at the hospital walked alongside their treating cardiologists at Anna Nagar Tower Park.
Celebrating Life and Health
The walk was flagged off by M.K. Mohan, MLA – Anna Nagar Constituency, and joined by senior cardiologists and cardiac surgeons. The event highlighted the importance of timely medical care, lifestyle changes, and awareness in preventing heart disease.

The “Namma Heart Walk” served as a testament to medical excellence, patient resilience, and the hospital’s commitment to giving every heartbeat a second chance. The event also saw the inauguration of a public Automated External Defibrillator (AED) unit at Anna Nagar Tower Park.
