Maharashtra Students Shine at KPIT Sparkle 2025 with Innovative Solutions

Maharashtra: Two teams of students from Maharashtra showcased cutting-edge solutions to critical challenges in cybersecurity and autonomous mobility at KPIT Sparkle 2025, a nationwide innovation contest organized by KPIT Technologies.

Innovative Projects:

  • AI-Driven Cybersecurity: Students from Jayawantrao Sawant College of Engineering, Pune, developed an AI-driven cybersecurity system to counter Interest Flooding Attacks (IFA) in vehicular networks, achieving 94% accuracy in detecting cyber threats.
  • Autonomous Building Vehicle: A team from CSMSS CHH. Shahu College of Engineering, Aurangabad, designed an autonomous building vehicle to optimize material transport in construction zones, addressing labor shortages and improving efficiency.

Vishakha Bhosale, leader of Team Vanguardians, said, “Our AI-driven cybersecurity system leverages Deep Packet Inspection and Large Language Models to proactively identify and neutralize Interest Flooding Attacks.”

Vidya Kolhe, leader of Team Eklavya, added, “Our autonomous transport vehicle is designed to bridge the gaps in the construction industry by seamlessly moving construction materials across diverse terrains.”

The 11th edition of KPIT Sparkle witnessed participation from over 28,000 students representing more than 700 colleges, showcasing a wide range of technological advancements and ground-breaking innovations.
