Lenskart Brings Barcelona’s Meller to India, Unveils Popmart Collaboration to Expand Premium Eyewear Portfolio
Mumbai: Eyewear giant Lenskart has announced the India launch of Barcelona-based youth eyewear brand Meller, alongside a new creative collaboration with global pop-culture brand Popmart. These strategic moves mark a significant step in Lenskart’s ambition to build a modern, design-led House of Eyewear Brands.
The Pop Mart x Lenskart collection, inspired by Popmart’s iconic character Labubu, will debut in Singapore in early December—both online and in select Lenskart stores. The collection features collectible, character-driven designs aimed at fashion-forward consumers who embrace playful, expressive accessories.
The collaboration adds to Lenskart’s growing portfolio of cultural partnerships, which already includes global franchises such as Harry Potter, Hello Kitty, Pokémon, Dragon Ball Z, Superman, and Batman. These alliances are part of Lenskart’s broader strategy to connect with emerging subcultures through design storytelling.
Founded in Barcelona, Meller has become one of Europe’s leading D2C eyewear brands, known for its bold silhouettes, street-style palettes, and fashion-first appeal. With a strong following across Europe and the U.S., the brand resonates with young consumers seeking individuality and global design.
In India, Meller will be available across Lenskart’s online platforms and in approximately 500 curated stores, selected using GeoIQ intelligence to target high fashion-affinity zones.
