Madras Quiz 2025 Returns for Madras Week Celebrations
Chennai: The Madras Quiz, a signature event for the city, is set to return on August 24, 2025, as part of the Madras Week celebrations. The quiz, presented by the Murugappa Group, will be conducted by renowned quizmaster Dr. Sumanth C. Raman at the MMA Auditorium.
Theme and Participation
The 2025 edition is themed “Madras: Idhu Oru Thani Vibe,” highlighting the city’s unique ability to embrace diversity. Teams of two can register on the spot, and participants are encouraged to dress in ways that reflect the city’s many moods and colors.
Prizes and Recognition
Prizes worth ₹50,000 await the winners, along with the prestigious Madras Quiz rolling trophy. Special prizes will also be awarded to the best women’s team, senior citizens’ team, and school students’ team. Audience members can also win exciting spot prizes.
