Mahindra Launches World’s First Formula E-Themed Special Edition SUV – BE 6 Formula E Edition
Chennai: Mahindra has introduced the world’s first Formula E-themed special edition SUV, the Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Edition, priced at ₹23.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The FE3 variant with additional features is priced at ₹24.49 lakh. Bookings for the special edition will open on January 14, 2026, the company said.
The first 999 customers will receive a package of assured exclusive benefits, while three lucky customers will get an opportunity to attend the London E-Prix 2026, subject to terms and conditions.
Mahindra has also announced Kush Maini, FIA Formula 2 race winner and one of India’s leading racing drivers, as the brand ambassador for the Formula E Edition.
The BE 6 Formula E Edition draws design and performance inspiration from Mahindra’s participation in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, reflecting the brand’s long-standing presence in global motorsport. Mahindra is the only Indian manufacturer to have recorded race wins in the all-electric Formula E series.
In Chennai, the BE 6 Formula E Edition was unveiled at Jubilant MotorWorks’ Mahindra Velachery showroom. Jubilant MotorWorks operates Mahindra dealerships across Velachery, Nandanam and Navalur, with service facilities in Velachery, Keelkattalai and Kelambakkam.
Mahindra said the special edition aims to bring motorsport-inspired electric mobility to Indian roads.
