Mankind Pharma Completes Global Supply Chain Transformation with Accenture

Mumbai: Mankind Pharma has completed a multi-year transformation of its global supply chain and strategic procurement operations in collaboration with Accenture.

The initiative integrates digitally enabled operating models powered by advanced analytics and AI across procurement, manufacturing and distribution. The company has deployed an integrated planning platform connecting demand forecasting, production, inventory and distribution across more than 25 international markets.

The new system has been implemented across 30 manufacturing facilities and over 50 distribution centres, reducing drug stock-outs by 75% and optimising inventory by up to 20%, according to the company.

Alongside supply chain modernisation, Mankind Pharma undertook an 18-month revamp of its strategic sourcing and procurement function, introducing standardised processes, automation and analytics-led decision-making to improve governance, cost efficiency and supplier collaboration.

Company executives said the transformation strengthens resilience, enhances supply reliability and supports sustainable growth while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance across markets.
