Meera Music Celebrates Tamil New Year with Global Season 3 Launch

Chennai: Meera Music, a music platform from Meera, CavinKare’s iconic hair care brand, has launched its Season 3 with a global heartbeat. The launch features a K-pop inspired song ‘Tamil-K Gethu’, a cultural crossover between Tamil Nadu and Korea.

The song is composed by Tamil music director Dharan Kumar in collaboration with K-pop artist Aoora. It explores the cultural parallels between Tamil and Korean traditions, including shared values and vibrant traditions.

  • The song fuses K-pop’s energy with Kollywood’s soul, set in stunning Chettinadu-inspired rural backdrops.
  • It features iconic cultural elements like Kolams, Bharatnatyam, Kandangi sarees, and traditional South Indian instruments.
  • The collaboration highlights the shared values of Tamil and Korean heritage, including respect for elders and cultural expression through music and dance.
