MG Hector Gets Major Makeover; New Tech, New Look, Limited Units at ₹11.99 Lakh
Chennai: JSW MG Motor India has launched the All-New MG Hector, introducing a refreshed design language, upgraded technology features and enhanced comfort elements in its popular SUV line-up. The new Hector is priced from ₹11.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for a limited number of units.
The updated model debuts with a more assertive exterior, featuring a new Aura Hex Grille, redesigned Aura Sculpt front and rear bumpers, and Aura Bolt alloy wheels. Two new colour options — Celadon Blue and Pearl White — further elevate its visual appeal.
Premium Interiors With New Themes
The cabin receives a significant upgrade with two new interior themes:
- Dual Tone Ice Grey for the 5-seater variant
- Dual Tone Urban Tan for the 6- and 7-seater variants
The interiors are complemented by Hydra Gloss Finish Accents, fabric seat inserts, a Leather Pack for the dashboard and door trims, front ventilated seats, and a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, enhancing both comfort and sophistication.

The All-New Hector introduces several segment-first technologies, including:
- i-SWIPE Touch Gesture Control with two- and three-finger swipe functions

Performance and Safety
Powered by a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine (CVT & MT), the SUV delivers 143 PS and 250 Nm of torque. Standard safety features include ABS, EBD, ESP, TCS, Hill Hold Control, and Brake Assist.
The new 360° HD Camera with Wheel View enhances parking convenience by offering tyre-level visibility — a practical addition for tight urban manoeuvres.
Legacy of the Hector
First introduced in 2019 as India’s first Internet Car, the Hector has crossed 1.5 lakh customers. The latest iteration continues to offer premium features such as:

The diesel variant of the All-New Hector will be introduced in 2026.
