MGM Healthcare’s Varam Launches Menopause Evening Clinic
Chennai: On its fifth anniversary and World Menopause Day, MGM Healthcare’s Varam Women’s Superspeciality Centre launched a dedicated Menopause Evening Clinic to offer affordable, holistic care for women navigating menopause.
The event featured dignitaries including Dr. Deepa Thangamani, Ms. Niyati Mehta, and Dr. Jaishree Gajaraj. Highlights included a symbolic art installation, a fashion show, and giveaways like a complimentary MGM Health Card worth ₹4,999.
Dr. Jaishree Gajaraj emphasized the importance of awareness and timely care, noting that while 90% of women experience menopausal symptoms, less than half seek help. The clinic aims to bridge this gap with personalized support.
Varam, known as a “Birthing Boutique,” has completed over 1,500 safe deliveries and offers comprehensive women’s healthcare, from high-risk pregnancies to IVF and wellness services — all under one roof.
