Mia by Tanishq Partners with Hornbill Festival 2025, Showcasing Contemporary Elegance

Chennai: Mia by Tanishq, India’s leading contemporary fine jewellery brand, has joined the Hornbill Festival 2025 as its Official Style Partner. The collaboration brings Mia’s “Precious, every day” philosophy to one of the country’s most celebrated cultural events, held at Kisama Heritage Village in Kohima, Nagaland.

Celebrating Culture and Contemporary Style

Over the 10-day festival, Mia curated a dedicated engagement zone, offering exclusive merchandise and product giveaways that reflected the festival’s spirit of heritage, creativity, and community. On day three, the brand unveiled special edition “Mia x Hornbill” pendants inspired by Naga motifs and state colors—red, black, green, and white. Designed as commemorative yet everyday-wearable pieces, the pendants blended traditional artistry with modern femininity, reinforcing Mia’s identity as a bold, stylish jewellery brand.

Connecting with Local Icons

Mia engaged with prominent Nagaland personalities including guitarist Imnainla Jamir, biker Onen Nenty, vocalist Iuli Yeptho of Trance Effect, and fashion influencer Imlisen Pongen. These collaborations highlighted Mia’s commitment to empowering women who express themselves through music, adventure, and fashion, while building authentic brand awareness in the region.

First Major Northeast Venture

The partnership marks Mia’s first major venture in the Northeast, complementing Tanishq’s presence in Dimapur and supporting plans for Mia’s store expansion in the region. Business Head Shyamala Ramanan shared the dais with Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, ambassadors, and ministers at the festival inauguration, underscoring Mia’s leadership and commitment to cultural engagement.

Ajay Maurya, Product & Marketing Head, Mia by Tanishq, said: “Our partnership with the Hornbill Festival marks an important step in deepening our presence in the North East, one of the most culturally rich and creatively vibrant regions of India. Through this collaboration, we aim to bring Mia’s contemporary design language closer to the women of the North East, fostering access to fine jewellery crafted with authenticity, modernity, and heart.”

Reinforcing Everyday Elegance

Mia by Tanishq continues to inspire women across India with trendy, expressive designs crafted for every moment. The Hornbill Festival partnership reaffirms the brand’s commitment to celebrating individuality, culture, and contemporary self-expression in the Northeast.
