MV Diabetes Hosts MVCON 2026 on Advances in Diabetes Care
Chennai: MV Hospital for Diabetes is hosting MVCON 2026, a three-day national conference from March 20 to 22, bringing together leading experts in diabetes care, research, and clinical practice.
The conference focuses on the latest advances in diabetes management, particularly complications affecting the kidney, eye and heart, along with specialised sessions on diabetic foot care. Hands-on workshops on debridement, advanced wound care, and negative pressure wound therapy are also being conducted.
Jitendra Singh was presented the MV Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to diabetes research in India. Industrialist A. V. Anoop will also receive the award for his contributions to healthcare and wellness initiatives.
The conference features symposiums, panel discussions, and scientific presentations. A key highlight is the Prof. MV Gold Medal Oration by Ashok Kumar Das.
Over 1,000 delegates, including doctors, researchers and specialists, are expected to attend, with around 100 experts sharing insights on advances in diabetes care.
Organisers said the conference aims to promote a multidisciplinary approach, focusing on early intervention and prevention of complications, with discussions also covering AI, digital health, and emerging therapies in diabetes management.
