NSDC International Academy Inaugurated to Empower Youth in Foreign Languages and International Placement
Mumbai: In a significant move to bridge the gap between Indian youth and global employment opportunities, Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State (I/C), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and Minister of State, Ministry of Education, inaugurated the NSDC International Academy in Greater Noida.
The academy, a state-of-the-art facility, aims to provide world-class skill development and training programs, specializing in internationally recognized language certifications, including OSD and GOETHE certifications for German, JLPT for Japanese, and ISLETS for English.
During the inauguration, Chaudhary emphasized the importance of equipping young Indians with industry-relevant training, language skills, and cultural readiness to succeed in the global workforce. He highlighted the government’s increased focus on skilling, with the skilling budget rising from ₹3,300 crores to ₹6,100 crores.
The NSDC International Academy plans to train over 1,000 candidates annually, providing placement assistance and partnerships with industry leaders to facilitate valuable interview opportunities ¹. The academy’s initiatives are expected to play a pivotal role in making India a global skill capital, with a focus on preparing youths for careers in Germany, Japan, Israel, and the UK.
