NSDC Partners with Axim Collaborative to Revolutionize Skill Development
Mumbai: National Skill Development Corporation has partnered with Axim Collaborative to enhance vocational training and skill development. This collaboration aims to improve the Open edX open-source software platform, driving innovation in education and skill development to empower youths.
The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed by Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO of NSDC, and Stephanie Khurana, CEO of Axim Collaborative, on March 20, 2025. This strategic alliance marks a substantial leadership stride for NSDC in leveraging digital solutions for skill development.
- Advancing Open edX Project: Providing leadership and technical support to enhance the global open-source learning management system and community for online teaching and learning.
- Driving Digital Innovation: Sharing knowledge, expanding the Open edX ecosystem, establishing new partnerships, and pursuing innovations in AI-enhanced teaching and learning, content modularity, credential recognition, and more.
- Enhancing Platform Capabilities: NSDC will join the Open edX Technical Oversight Committee to further improve the platform’s capabilities.
