Parvathy Hospital’s ‘Miles of Smiles’ Walkathon Draws Over 6,000 Participants

Chennai: Parvathy Hospital successfully hosted the 6th edition of its annual Walkathon, “Miles of Smiles,” at the MIT Sports Ground, Chromepet, on Sunday morning. The event drew over 6,000 participants, making it the largest edition to date. The Walkathon was flagged off by E. Karunanithi, MLA – Pallavaram Constituency, and K. Saravana Kumar, the Consulate General of Malaysia.

Celebrating Inclusion and Togetherness

The Walkathon featured 1 km, 3 km, and 5 km categories, welcoming participants across all ages and physical abilities. Families, children, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities joined hands, reflecting the event’s message of inclusion and shared strength. The event celebrated the power of family and encouraged participants to walk, run, or cheer, symbolizing resilience, unity, and the joy of movement.
