Chennai: Addressing a vibrant gathering at Tamilpreneur Grand Sangamam 2025, K.R. Nagarajan, Culturepreneur and Founder Chairman of Ramraj Cotton, delivered the keynote address to the Tamil entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators from across industries.

The event was dedicated to celebrating entrepreneurial excellence and fostering knowledge exchange within the Tamil business community. It spotlighted inspiring business journeys, innovative ideas, and forward-looking strategies, all driven by a shared vision of strengthening Tamil entrepreneurship on the global stage.

Addressing the gathering, K.R. Nagarajan delivered the keynote address, sharing insights from his entrepreneurial journey. He stated, “Ramraj didn’t begin as a big business idea; it began with a sense of responsibility to uplift weavers, preserve our culture, and provide dignified livelihoods. The early days were full of challenges, but honesty, hard work, and perseverance shaped our path. We’ve worked to revive the dhoti as a symbol of pride, and today, it’s worn with confidence across age groups and regions. Our commitment to supporting over 50,000+ weaver families remain strong, and we continue to invest in nurturing local talent and sustaining India’s traditional textile legacy. Tradition goes hand in hand with innovation, and I believe that no matter how far we grow, staying rooted in our culture and people will always be our greatest strength.”

The Tamilpreneur Grand Sangamam 2025 brought together over 1,000 entrepreneurs, featuring 50+ high-profile founders and more than 25 venture capital firms, along with angel investors and startup enthusiasts, all converging to celebrate innovation, exchange ideas, and foster the growth of Tamil entrepreneurship. Notable participants included Sridhar Vembu from Zoho, Prabhu Rangarajan from M2P Fintech, Arun Prakash from GUVI, and Mohan K from IppoPay, as well as representatives from AWS, BCS, and Anicut Capital. The event featured high-impact sessions such as “AI for Entrepreneurs,” “Getting to ₹10 Cr Revenue,” “Scaling to ₹100 Cr,” and a startup “Demo Day,” culminating in a gala dinner and awards night, offering a full-day immersion in strategy, growth, and meaningful networking.
