Schneider Electric to Develop State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Facility in Tamil Nadu
Mumbai: Schneider Electric, a global leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, has partnered with Horizon Industrial Parks to develop a 500,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The facility will enhance Schneider Electric’s capabilities in manufacturing, sales, and trading of Battery Management Products.

- Location: Strategically located along the Bangalore-Chennai National Highway, offering seamless connectivity to both Bengaluru and Chennai markets
- Eco-Friendly Design: The facility will integrate multiple eco-friendly features, including:
- Roof Insulation: Using glass wool for enhanced thermal efficiency
- Rooftop Solar Panels: To boost thermal efficiency and reduce carbon footprint
- Natural Lighting: 12-meter clear height PEB design with skylights
- Advanced Ventilation Systems: For optimal energy efficiency
- Phased Development: The project will be executed in two phases, with the first phase featuring a dust-free facility and modern office space
- Workforce: Initial workforce of 1,500, encompassing both direct and indirect employment
