Schneider Electric Launches Galaxy VXL UPS, Redefining Power Protection for AI, Data Centers, and Critical Infrastructure

Mumbai: Schneider Electric, a leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, has announced the launch of its new Galaxy VXL UPS, a highly efficient, compact, modular, scalable, and redundant power protection system.

  • Compact 1.2m² footprint with industry-leading 1042 kW/m² power density
  • Modular, scalable design with 125kW/3U power modules
  • Up to 99% efficiency in eConversion mode and 97.5% in double conversion mode
  • Enhanced cybersecurity and safety features, including IEC 62443-4-2 certification
  • Live Swap technology for zero-downtime power module replacements
  • Compatible with Lithium-ion and VRLA batteries

The Galaxy VXL UPS is designed for AI, hyperscale data centers, and critical infrastructure, supporting up to 1.25 MW per frame and scaling to 5 MW with four units in parallel.

Schneider Electric has increased manufacturing and production capacity to meet customer demands for AI systems, with annual production capacity for Galaxy VXL UPS expected to exceed 9,000 units in 2025.
